Anne Hathaway has been a global icon and actress in the industry for decades now. Her timeless beauty, boundless grace, and adaptability to each of her roles set her apart in every way. She has played legendary roles in The Devil Wears Prada, The Princess Diaries, and Alice in Wonderland, but has also been an excellent addition to Oscar-winning films like Brokeback Mountain, Interstellar, and Les Misérables, for which she won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress.

This year could be her biggest yet, with Mother Mary from A24 coming out on April 17th, The Devil Wears Prada 2 on May 2nd, The Odyssey from Christopher Nolan on July 17th, The End of Oak Street on August 14th, and Verity, the most recent Colleen Hoover adaptation, on October 2nd.

Not only are these great narratives, The Odyssey has a lot of Oscar potential and buzz, especially as this is Nolan’s first film since Oppenheimer. Verity also has Oscar potential, as Colleen Hoover adaptations continue to rise in both popularity and quality. Dakota Johnson is also in the project, which elevates its anticipation even further.

Mother Mary, her most recent film, which came out about a week ago, is a unique subject matter that she has never tackled before. The rich visuals and metaphors throughout create an intriguing string of memories that pour seamlessly into the climax of the film. I have not seen her in a role like this at any point in her career. She fully transforms into a pop star who can command a stage with just one look.
